2019 Buick Regal Design
Last year, the Buick Regal went through a substantial change that generated a more coupe-like roofline, resulting in the “Sportback” name being slapped on this sedan. With this complete overhaul just a year old, we anticipate no big changes to the 2019 Regal.
For 2018, Buick totally renovated the whole look of the Regal. With its swoopy shape, sharp character lines, and coupe-like rear glass all still fresh, we expect nothing new here. We anticipate the same to show real inside, where it’ll maintain its definitely European cabin.
2019 Buick Regal Features
Expect basic devices to largely stay the same. If this shows true, try to find it to come with standard fabric upholstery, keyless ignition, rearview video camera, 17-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch infotainment system, a seven-speaker audio system, and more.
2019 Buick Regal Engine
We also expect no changes under the hood. If this shows true, it’ll come with a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 250 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This power will head through a nine-speed automated transmission in front-wheel-drive models and an eight-speed automatic on all-wheel-drive models.
The IIHS has yet to carry out security tests on the 2018 Regal, so we don’t have any hard data to pass on. Exactly what we do understand is that the critical automatic emergency situation braking is offered as a part of the optional Driver Confidence Package II. Offered all of its crash tests and the headlight test all turn in “Good” ratings then the Regal will get the Top Safety Pick+ status numerous car manufacturers aim for.
