2021 Jaguar XK Production
If a new XK does come into production, it is said to be based upon the next-generation F-Type that’s scheduled to show up as early as next year. The present F-Type utilizes upgraded underpinnings of the old XK and will take advantage of modified hardware for its next version. Jaguar’s engineers have been dealing with a setup that can be customized to support the development of a 2 +2 model, which suggests a roomier model, in the same vein as the grand tourer canned after the XKR Final Fifty Edition.
The F-Type, together with the XK successors, will utilize JRL’s crop of Ingenium four, and we anticipate six-cylinder engines to generate SVR versions sharing the supercharged 5.0 liter V8. We do not know what the efficiency figures will resemble this engine just yet. It is uncertain at this moment if the revamped hardware will open up the possibility of a plug-in hybrid powertrain. However, we are quite sure that it will come sometime soon.
Furthermore, it seems that Jaguar expects a flourishing future for cars and will be investing in performance models.
